I love this song.
I keep the CD in my car, and blast it whenever the kids are cranky, whiny, or I just need to take a deep breath.
The melody is so lovely, and I find myself concentrating on the message, soaking in the truths it contains, and finding meaning and purpose in the description of motherhood.
Sometimes the girls will sing along, and their sweet, innocent voices melt my anger and touch my heart.
When the last few notes fade away, I have remembered and recommitted myself to my most cherished goal.
And life is good again.
