I imagine that all kids make threats, when they don't get their way, but do yours ever threaten to do things that are tantamount to shooting themselves in the foot? Here are some of my favorites:
Alyssa: "Then I'll never watch a movie, again!!"
Audrey: " Then I'll never eat dinner again!
Me: "Oh, my, you'll get awfully hungry."
Audrey: "No, I won't! I'll eat breakfast!"

OH the Audreyisms....what a charachter! I love it when kids logic just trumps every other thought and keeps you on your toes!
