My
dear friend Roy has made a heroic journey from the the horrors of
war-torn Congo to political asylum in the US. After many years of hard
work and separation he has been able to bring his family to safety in
the US. Despite his best efforts working as an electrical contractor,
raising the needed $15,000 to procure permanent residency for his wife
(allowing her to work) and four children has proved beyond his means,
especially as he is still supporting three adopted orphaned children
living in Rwanda.
Friends have joined forces to help fund raise for this
beautiful family, with a goal of raising the needed money by May 1st.
If you would like to help, send me a message and I'll send you the
information for the fund that has been set up through Wells Fargo to
help them. Although Roy has moved out of state and I have not yet met
his family, we developed a special bond during his time in Virginia, and
he feels like a brother to me.
Thank you so much in advance for your
support!
