We spent some time this year learning about the revolutionary war. Audrey was especially fascinated with Paul Revere and wanted to see his house and the Old North church where he put up the lamps. For her 9th birthday, we decided to take a road trip and walk the freedom trail.
It was my first time in Boston, and I loved it! What a fun city! So walkable and so funny to see 18th century historical buildings adjacent to a Starbucks or CVS as we wound around downtown.

We metroed into town. There were some lovely train stations that dated back hundreds of years along the way, but wasn't able to get any pictures.
