Audrey loves to go to the library to check out books and movies.
Alyssa loves to go to crawl through the shelves, and pull books and movies off of them.
On one such occasion, Alyssa pulled off the movie, "Herbie, Fully Loaded, " and Audrey asked if we could check it out. That was the beginning of the "Herbie" era.
Like, Steve Irwin, Lightning McQueen, and Pippi Longstocking, Herbie has become an unexpected, yet prominent part of our lives. We have since checked out all of the Herbie movies (there are 5), and Audrey has even made up words for the lyric-less "Love Bug" theme song.
She has christened this toy car (which is broken and has been on its way to the dumpster for some time) "Herbie" and loves to put Daddy's tools in her "Cars" lunchbox and pretend to fix it.
I enjoy watching Audrey give Alyssa rides in "Herbie" and am so grateful for my little "love bugs."

That is so cute! I saw that movie today at the library and almost got it, but then couldn't remember really what it was about and wanted to check out the details online. I'd better run back to get it. Those girls are just so darling! Thanks for sharing.

We liked "Love Bug","Fully Loaded," and "Monte Carlo." We were not as keen on "Goes Bananas" or "Rides Again."
