On my Birthday:
I got animal phonics readers from Mommy..
A locket from Grandma...
A flashlight from Daddy...
French toast for breakfast, homemade pizza for dinner, and birthday cake for dessert.
And I told Mommy and Daddy all day, "This is the best birthday EVER!"
And Mommy and Daddy were glad that they couldn't buy me everything they wanted to.
Because, if they could, perhaps I wouldn't be so sweet, and easily impressed, and grateful.
And it might be more difficult to make next year, "the best birthday ever."
Happy 6th Birthday, Audrey!! Every day we get to spend with you is "the best day EVER!!"
