Hu'mi'di'ty

-From the Gathright Dictionary of Eastern U.S. Terminology

Hu'mi'di'ty

Of or pertaining to a condition in which:

- washcloths smell moldy two days after being washed

- hot showers are followed by cold, damp towels

- bed sheets feel as is they have been baptized by sprinkling

- one begins to seriously doubt that one's jeans will have successfully drip-dried before next summer

In conclusion: I don't think we're in the desert anymore..........
