Child's Play

This morning Audrey and I were trying to read some "Old Testament" stories for "Gospel Learning Time," but Alyssa was singing very loudly.

Me: "Alyssa, you may play in your room, or play here quietly with your cars. Audrey and I are trying to read."

Alyssa: "They talk."

Me: "What?"

Alyssa: "The cars talk."

Audrey: " Yes, they talk, and they talk soooo loudly!"

Me: Well, then you can find another toy to play with quietly."

Alyssa: "The blocks talk, too."
