Torpedo Factory

A couple miles north of us, in Old Town Alexandria is an art school called "The Torpedo Factory" because, well it used to be a torpedo factory during WWII. ( I thought there would be some artsy reason for the name, but not so). It still looks alot like a torpedo factory which gives it a really cool ambiance, I think.

The torpedo factory hosts a free annual art festival with wonderful booths set up for children to explore:

Collage

Paper Mache Alligator

Water Color

Weaving

And much more!
Audrey is so much more the artist than I, she's forever printing craft ideas from http://www.dltk-kids.com/ and making things. So fun to see her imagination at work!
