Toga Party

I'm not very artsy, but I have very artsy kids. I  often experience pangs of guilt over their lack of  art education. So I do what any art-impaired, semi-motivated mother would do. I check out "artsy kids books "from the library and hand it to them. "Here kids, make something out of this."

(This is a fabulous book, by the way).

I'm developing a theory that kids that are neglected "given time to pursue self-actualization" do some pretty amazing things. Turns out when I ignore "encourage independence" in my kiddos, they come up with things that I would be too lazy "inhibited" to do.

Audrey found this toga sandals project in one of the art books.

Voila!
